of the season is expected in Sunday afternoon games.

The schedule is a “natural” with the first place teams in the

Municipal, City and Big Six leagues playing the second-place clubs. In each instance a victory by the current leaders will cinch their top berths.

Kingan Reliables, leading the Municipal league, clashes with DeWolf News at Brookside. The Reliables have lost but one game this season, to Leon Tailors, DeWolf has had two reverses both handed them by Kingan's, The Meatmen won a double-header June 29, 3-1 and 7-5. 12 In a Row Tryon Tavern, leader in the City league, will battle the Ferris Food Markets, the only team to triumph over Tryon in Big Six competition. The Indianapolis Clowns will strive extra hard for a victory over the Havana La Palomas in their game at Victory field Sunday at 8:30 as part of their contribution to Reece (Goose) Tatum'’s night. The Clowns’ star first-baseman and showgnan is to be honored that evening. For’ that reason, ' the Clowns plan on pitching Johnny Williams, their ace, who is in the midst of a winning streak. Williams hurled three scoreless innings in the West's victory over the East in the Yankee stadium Negro all-star game last Tuesday.
