Lighter Fluid Cause of Blaze '

A blind man ‘set fire to his home late. yesterday without Tealizing it. Don Potter, 52, of 421 Congress ave, told firemen he had filled a cigaret lighter with fluid, spilling some of the fluid on his forearm. When he tested the lighter, he said, the fluid on his arm ignited, burning him and he flung the lighter away. A short time later neighbors notified Mr. Potter his house was ablaze. The lighter, still burning, apparently had lagded on a bed, setting it afire. Mr. Potter was treated for burns by Fire Rescue Squad 14.
