Legion Sets New Record in State
More Than 125,000 Members in Indiana
Membership in Indiana department of American Legion set a new all-time high this .week as Hoosier Legionnaires prepared for ‘their 20th annual state convention here Aug. 2-5. The Indiana department will go into its three-day meeting with more than 125,000 members. It was announced today that the fourth Legion district, commanded by F. M. Rogers, Lagrange, will lead the convention parade through downtown Indianapolis the night of Aug. 4. The district won the front spot by leading the 11 districts of
