Heats in 20 Seconds The steam engine gets its power from a new jet burner perfected six months ago by an eastern inventor, Calvin D. McCracken. It uses almost any type of liquid fuel, Mr, Miner said, and heats the steam in the boiler to 600 degrees Fahrenheit in 20 seconds. The steam powers a four-cylinder [wine which has no exhaust odors. Mr. Miner said he got the idea {for the truck while reading of Mr. | MacCracken’s invention in a maga- | zine, He bought exclusive right to use it in highway vehicles.
