FCC Investig Air Situation Higating Indiana

were going slow today on plang to broadcast their Sunday serviees over their own carrier current radio stations.

an tion of a “hot-bed” of illegal radio activity in southern Indiana, At least two Bedford churches— the Church of God and the First Christian church—canceled orders for equipment to broadcast their Sunday programs after a visit and a lecture by an FOC investigator from Chicago, At Columbus earlier this week, operation of “radio station” IQW| re was halted abruptly when an FCC engineer informed the owners that their current station was violating federal regulations. ‘Hams’ Not Involved

wave radio “hams” were involved, the communications commission reported. It said the violators were persons using devices which carry programs along ordinary. power lines. The devices are legal, an official said, as long as they conform with federal regulations concerning the maximum strength of signal permitted andthe maximum allowable interference. The station at Columbus was built by Gene Foster of ord and sold to two Bartholomew county men for $250. A few days later the owners were ‘nformed that not only was their power too strong, but their locally-adopted “LQW"” call letters had not been assigned from Washington according to regulations.

Mr. Poster sald here that he had planned to start operation of one of the stations at Seymour Wedmesday, but after a talk with FCC engineers he changed his mind.

His “heavenly experience” occurred during the five hours that he lay there, Told Many Things Little David describes “the wing less angels who bore him aloft to heaven and the voice of God whom he could hear but could not see.” “God told me many things,” the boy recalls solemnly. “He told me
