MARTINSVILLE, Ind; July 9 (U. P), ~The Morgan county eircuit court was expected to - rule! today on a petition asking that Richard Dale Imel, 14, be admitted! to bail prior to his trial in connee-| tion with the slaying of his stepmother in Indianapolis last March. Defense Attorney Sherwood Blue called two Indianapolis psychiatrists td the stand yesterday. Drs. E. Vernon Hall and Phillip B. Reed testified that the boy suffered an “epileptic equivalent’ at the time he is alleged to have fatally wounded Mrs. Beatrice Lillian Imel with a shotgun. Both doctors said they examined | the Imel boy at Methodist hospital in Indianapolis after the shooting. Dr. Hall indicated that extreme emotional tension and increasing anxiety had driven the youth to an ° "automatic compulsory act.” The boy's mother, who died when he was six months old, had suffered from epilepsy, he said,
