"Moscow Radio. Says Armenians Insulted
LONDON, June 27 (U. P.).~~The Moscow radio, in a sarcastic commentary on the around-the-world flight of American newspaper editors, today sharply criticized Roy W. Howard, president of The In‘dianapolis Times, for a statement made to Turkisl journalists in Istanbul. The Moscow commentator; speaking in English, compared the party of editors with Mark Twain's “Innocents Abroad,” and added that, “true to the literary tradition, the American visitors assumed an air of real innocence.” Mr. Howard, the commentator said, told Turkish news reporters that Armenians were hardly re-
.|garded as human beings in the
United States. The commentator said Mr. Howard's remark came when he was asked the American attitude toward protests of Armenians in the United States against the “reactionary Turkish regime.” “With one cynical phrase, he has on behalf of American democracy exonorated Turkey for her ageold persecution of the » Armenian people, . for massacres of millions of Armenians, and for fearful and systematic extermination of a nation,” the Moscow broadcast said.’

LAKE SUCCESS, N. A. June 27 (U, P.) ~The United States bluntly accused Albania, Bulgaria and Jugoslavia today of using force against Greece. The United . States demanded that the United Nagions “security
council use “the full weight of its |authority” to halt them. Americn delegate Warren WR. Austin called for an early showdown with the three Bhlkan countries. He charged that they have been committing “the very kind of acts which the United Nations was designed to prevent.” World peace will be even more seriously threatened, Mr. Austin said, if “the acts . against Greece's independence ‘should ocontinue.” Mr. Austin said the acts of three Balkan countries were as
as “actual invasion by organized armies.”
In the strongest speech yet decil, Mr. Austin said the diplomatic
