Mathematics Teacher Joined Faculty in '09

y Times State Service BLOOMINGTON, Ind, June 27.— Services for Dr, Cora B. Hennel, professor of mathematics at Indiana university who died yesterday after an illness of several months, will be held at 2 p, m, tomorrow in the Greene and Harrell Chapel here. Dr. Hennel, who was 61, was born in Evansville and was graduated from Evansville high school. She graduated from Indiana university in 1907, received the A. M. degree in 1908 and the Ph. D. degree in 1012. She joined the I U. mathematics faculty in 1909, serving on the faculty until her death. She has been a full professor since 1936. Dr. Hennel was a past president of the local branch of the American -Association of University Professors, American Association of University Women, Women's Faculty club, and Y. W. 0. A, advisory board.
