Woodstock Faces $2000 Rent Hike

Woodstock Country club today was faced with a $2000 increase in the rent it pays for use of the city owned golf course and club house. The park board moved yesterday to hike the club’s rental from $6000 tto $8000 annually, effective when the present five-year lease expires Sept. 30, 1950. Paul V. Brown, city parks head, was directed by the park commissioners to inform the club's board
