Open racing competition was inayugurated last night at the Indianapolis Midget Speedway on W. 16th st. but the cast of characters and the winners remained much the same. : Leroy Warriner, popular west side pilot, captured the feature for Of-fenhauser-powered cars, finishing ahead of Kenny Eaton of New Castle in a close race.
