Chicago LaSalle Hotel Will Not Reopen July 1
CHICAGO, June 18 (U. P.).—The fire department announced today that the newly-renovated La Salle hotel, where 61 persons died in a fire June 5, 1046, still is unsafe, It will not be permitted to reopen unless fire code violations are rectified, officials said. The hotel had planned to reopen July 1.
