Bishop Lowe will preside throughout the conference and preach Sunday at 10:30 a. m. to an expect~ ed audience of 4000 in the auditorium of Indiana university. Preceding the service, the Rev. 8. J, Cross, retired minister of Shelbyville, will conduct an old-fashioned love feast in the auditorium. +The climax of the conference will be the ordination and appoint: ment of ministers by Bishop Lowe at the closing session Sunday atternoon, also in the: auditorium. Bishep Hughes to Speak A ‘highlight of the conference will be talks by Bishop Edwin Holt Hughes, retired, of Washington, D. C. He will conduct the memorial services for ministers and ministers’ wives Wednesday at 4 p. m., lead devotions Thursday at 8:30 a. m. and speak during: the bishops hour, Thursday through Saturday at 11:30 a. m. Brooderhouse, Chicks Destroyed in Fire
Fire destroyed a four-room brooder house and toolroom at the home of Glenn H. Gibbs, R. R. 10, early today. Almost 250 chickens perished in the fire of undetermined origin.
