Miss. Bicking, who has spent nearly 50 years in music education, will retire at the close of the conservatory’s summer session-in July, the announcement said. A native of Evansville, Miss Bicking has been with the conservatory since 1933, its director since 1935. She has served as public-school supervisor in Vincennes and Evansville and as state director of music in Michigan from 1927 to 19833. Taught in East Her teaching experience has included terms at Evansville college and Indiana, Ohio State and Columbia universities. She has lectured at nearly every state’ university SH teaciiers college east of the Rockies. During her tenure at Jordan, nationally-known musicians have
