Meridian Hills 'Announces Program

A varied program of activities is on the Meridian Hills Country club's schedule for June and July. A junior dance Friday night will mark this week's social function and a Ladies’ Luncheon bridge is set for next Tuesday. Mrs. C. T. Lykins is chairman and Mrs. Dixon Guy will be hostess for the month. Her assistants will be Mrs. Charles E. Harrison and Mrs. Horace E. Storer. Chairman of the Junior dance is Dick Stinebaugh, assisted by Nelle Becherer, Mary Lou Weller, Joey Pittenger, Carol King, Bob Baxter, Bud Schaefer, Chuck DeVoe, Steve Pardee and Stew Gordon. Other Dates Set June 25 is the Ladies’ golf guest day, and June 28 there will be a membership and guest dance at the club. “The Sportsman's Swing” will be preceded by a buffet supper. Mr. and Mrs. Harold Ransburg are chairmen of evening parties. July will march in with an Independence day celebration. A buffet supper and fireworks planned.
