Today's dead wede: Betty Lamvert, 21, of Richmond, who was killed when a car operated by Ray Bchwyn, 18, of Winchester in whieh she was a passenger, crashed Into a culvert on state rd. 32 six miles east of Winchester. Farmer Killed on Road ' Thomas Reed, 80, a Johnson county farmer, killed when he was struck while walking on state rd, #4 near Franklin by an automobile driven by Harold Brown, 18, of Franklin. Mary E. Brautingam, 86, of New Albany, who died of shock after an auto crash on U. 8. 31 near Uniontown, Two fatalities accurred in south Indianapolis when an inbound Greyhound bus crashed into an automobile and then careened into a garage at 4015 Madison ave, The dead in that accident were James Peavler, 28, of Greenwood, and James Adams, 29, of Franklin Struck by Bus The automobile which Mr. Pealver was driving south on Madison ave. was struck broadside by the northbound Greyhound bus from Louisville as he attempted to make a left hand turn into Windermire | st. The bus then crashed into the Madison ave. garage, killing Mr. Adams, who was standing in the crowded vehicle. Seventeen injured were treated at Methodist, City and Veterans’ hospitals.

Mrs, Mary Acton and Barkley Jr., 12, were in hospitals, the mother with head injuries and the boy with a broken right arm and a possible skull fracture. Others Less Seriously Hurt Others were less seriously injured and some were treated but not admitted at City hospital which sent two ambulances to the scene. Seven persons were riding in each of the automobiles.

Rites Tomorow For William Weber
Services for Willlam Morris Weber, native and lifelong resident of Indianapolis, will be tomorrow at 4 p. m. in the Flanner & Buchanan mortuary. Burial will be in Crown Hill Mr. Weber died yesterday at the

by the Indianapolis Power & Light Co., for 21 years. He lived at 1326 N. Alabama st., was a member of the American Legion and géctive in the bowling league of the company. Ruben Glanzman, native Romanian and Indianapolis resident for 25 years, died last night. Mr. Glanzman was the father of six sons, five of whom live here. He was 49 and the owner of the army goods store, 340 E. Washington st. He lived at 1018 S. Illinois st.

With scattered donations still being received the Marion County Cancer society today announced that the campaign which closed
officially. May 3. had passed the $61,000 mark. Merle H. Miller, campaign chairman, said the society reached the original $50,000 goal in the last report meeting but money has continued to pour in from voluntary donors. “I want to emphasize that our goal of $50,000 was far less than the money needed but that those who already have helped us exceed it by more than $11,000 have made a very important and necessaty contribution to a worthy moVement,” Mr. Miller said," The society will retain 40 per cent of the funds, 20 per cent will go to the Indiana yaar society and the remaining 40’per cent will be turned over to the American Cancer society for the furtherance of scientific research.

Police today advanced a theory that’ a woman found drowned in
