A bronze plaque honoring eight men from Indiana Bell Telephone Co. who died in military service in world war II was to be dedicated
this morning nthe lobby of the|. telephone building. 4 Bell Telephone Post 134, American Legion, was to be in charge with Omdr. John W. Brannon presiding and Foster L. Stanley, Indi. ana Bell vice president giving the dedication. Families of the casualties have been invited to attend. The men were: Pf¢. Melvin Bowman, Pfe. Joseph J. Conerty, Col. John M. Davis, Capt. John R. Faris, Lt. Charles FP. Ferguson and Pvt. Thomas G. Harrison, all of 1ndianapolis; Pfc. Harry L. Houseman, Muncie, and Pfc. Wayne EB. Payto! Spencer. :

New One-Stop Flight To Coast Starts Soon
With inauguration June 8 of nonstop service between Chicago and Los Angeles by American Airlines,
may reach the coast in 10 hours with only one stop. Similar connections are available for return trips. Chicago to Los Angeles will be made
carrying 52° passengers, between Chicago and the coast will take but seven hours and clips one and one-half hours from previous schedules for the trip.
