P). «The Chicago White Sox were left with only one second-string catcher on their roster today when George (Skeets) Dickey was sidelined with a broken finger suffered ina game against the Washington Senators last night, Dickey, brother of former Yankee Manager Bill Dickey, was forced to leave the game in the eighth inning when struck by a féul tip off the bat of Jim (Mickey) Vernon, Sénator first sacker.
