rr Both ond: To Speed Up Your Work
By ALICIA HART NEA Staff Writer: TOO MANY women put the burden of their housework upon the hand that responds quickest to their bidding. Even if the other hand is not so dexterous, expert home economists
say that you should put‘it to work.| By using both hands, they claim
you can slice minutes from house work and salvage valuable time for
other things. » . 8 TAKE dishwashing as a twohanded job. It is ‘polished off
more equickly and eféiertly, according to the experts, if you will first organize your kitchen-sink assembly line so that dishes are moved from right to left. The right hand (if you are righthanded) should be used to slip the soiled dishes into the dishpan. The left should be used to pull dishes out, to hold them for a scrub with the dishrag, and to stack hem into the dish drainer,
DON'T ALLOW ane hand to loaf on the cleaning job. To speed up dusting, put each hand to work with a dust-rag. The same tactics can be used when floors and baseboards need wiping. When windows need washing, dip two rags Mato the bucket of suds, and divide the labor. Same thing goes for waxing floors, polishing brass. It may take practice to make both hands work together, but the time saved in training the team will be worth the trouble.
