Goodwill Industries will send a fleet of volunteer trucks through the city next week to collect dis-
and old furniture from citizens. The organization, which offers aid to handicapped persons, wants to increase its payroll in “opportunity wages” from $94,200 in 1947 to $113,500 this year. Articles donated by the public will be-sorted, cleaned, sterilized and repaired by workers, The renovated goods will be sold at the six Goodwill sales stores in. the city and the money derived paid to the workers as wages.
