‘Miss Title'
By Boston Group
HOLLYWOOD, May 12 (U, P).— Janis Paige, the most titled girl in the world, was given her 56th title by the tubsthumpers of America toay. She hopes it's the title to end all titles. It's “The Title." The tubsthumpers, a society of Boston press agents, thumbed through Janis' list of handles and gave up in despair. What else could the bean-towners do? Janis has more titles than Heinz has varieties. She's everything from “Miss - Delicious . (apples) to “Miss Best Table Decoration” (restaurants). She's been sponsored by everybody from bellhops to dam builders. Her name is plastéred on the shiny nose of a transport plane and there's even a horse with” her moniker pounding around eastern tracks. “I think it must be my name,” sighed “The Title. That, at least, inspired Boston newspaper editors to dub her “Miss Front Paige” for snaring more newspaper space in their city than any film star in years. It also could account fors the bellhops of Washington, D. C., naming her “The Girl ‘We'd Most Like to Paige ™ Miss Paige, of course, is a gorgeous young lady who gets a kick out of receiving titles and maybe that has something to do with it too. At Nmatilla, naturally, she was Judged the most beautiful sight by a dam site and named “Miss Damsite.”

The kangarvo became frightened at the approach of a tractor-and harrow and broke his neck attempting to leap a wire fence. Hello CROWN . . . Mom told me to call you and ask you to pick up our laundry. She says that this way any child can do the family washing. She's upstairs primping for an afternoon party that she couldn't go to if she had" to do the washing here at home. She also thinks it's swell that she can send her dry cleaning right along with the laundry and let one man do both jobs, 1 guess everybody goes for your service,
