Fr. Sullivan To Read Vows

An informal ceremony will unite Miss Margaret Ann Flaherty and Merlin Eugene Jackson at 8 p. m. today in the Holy Cross Catholic church rectory. The Rev. Fr. Ambrose J. Sullivan will officiate. Miss Flaherty's sister, Nora Ceellia, will be her maid of honor. Bhe will wear a street dress of aqua crepe with navy accessories. Edund R. Miltz will be the best man. The bride has chosen a blue erepe dress. Her accessories also will be navy, and she will wear a sorsage of pink roses. Following the wedding a small reception will be held at the home of the bride's father, Frank F. Flaherty, 49 N. Jefferson ave. The bridegroom's parents are Mr. and Mrs. Alva Jackson, 1253 S. Pershing ave, After a short wedding trip, the couple will be at home at 1345 Linden st.

The annual spring patroness luncheon will be held by the Indianapolis section, National Council of Jewish Women, Tuesday at the Broadmoor Country club. Committees have been appointed by the co-chairmen, Mrs. Victor Goldberg and Mrs. Harold 1. Platt. Mrs. Godfrey Lefton will be in charge of the program committee, assisted by Mesdames Simon Ackerman, Jack Efroymson, Henry Silver, Maurel Rothbaum, Paul Mode and Marcus Cohen.

Dolls to Be Shown Mrs. Harry Traugott is in charge of a committee making dolls representing various European countries. Council Plans ‘May Frolic’

A “May Prolic” will be sponsored by the student council of Indiana university extension May 16 in the I. U. Law school ballroom. Max Wilson's orchestra will play for the council's second formal dance of the year. In charge of arrangements are officers of the council. They are Phillip Muller, A president; Miss Dolly Roberts, vice president; Kenneth Edwards, secretary and ticket chairman, and Miss Joan Clark, treasurer and in charge of publicity. Miss Bonnie Jarvis is chairman of the decorations committee.

Cohen, Misses Dora Wolf, Gertrude Feibleman and Emma Gelman, 300 Expected Mrs. Philip Fishman is reservations chairman. President of the Indianapolis section is Mrs. Charles Efroymson. Three hundred women are expected to attend the event. The original play, “Somewhere in the Night,” will be given, showing the work of the council in Europe, providing homes for homeless women who are victims of war. These homes have been established in Paris, Athens and Vienna.

Part I 1 cup E-Z-BAKE All- 1 teaspoon salt Purpose Flour 1 teaspoon melted

% cup granulated sugar 1 teaspoon baking powder

Mix altogether thoroughly and place in well-greased

deep bread pan, size 4x8. Pour on top of batter the following, mixed well:

butter % cup sweet milk

1 cup hot cherry juice 1 teaspoon melted butter

Aftér putting cherry niixture on top of batter, bake in hot over, 400°F. for 40-45 minutes. Dough rises up through cherries and is nice and brown and crusty on top. Serves six to seven,
