BY WILLIAM A. O'BRIEN, Mm D. : SKIN CANCER, commonest form of the disease in man, is not difficult to cure in its early stages. Yet 4000 people died of it last year| as the result of indifference and neglect. Cancer rarely ‘develops on the normal skin. Skin cancers are most | | common in middle and advanced life in blond, thin-skinned, blue-eyed | persons whose occupation exposes them to sun, dirt, wind, oil, tar, or | | arsenic. Before the growth occurs, there is a wart, thickening, irritated | pateh, or lump.
