More than 1000 student and teacher musicians from the city’s high schools will participate in Indianapoliss Night at 8 p. m, today in Technical high school auditorium. Under the general direction of

Ralph W. Wright, music director of the Indianapolis schools, the musical pageant will climax the first day of the North Central Music Educators conference, in session here through Saturday. Student choirs, orchestras and glee clubs will come from Technical, Broad Ripple, Crispus Attucks, Manual, Washington, Shortridge and Howe high schools. Group directors include: Chelsea Stewart, Mrs. Donna Collins, Darrell Gooch, Gene Johnson, J. Russell Paxton, E. Roger Riley, Norman L. Merrifield, Edith’ R. “The Holy City,” A. R. Gaul's famous oratorio, will be presented at 4 p.m, Sunday in Centenary Christian church, 11th and Oxford sts. Participating will be the combined choirs of Irvington Methodist church, Charles Hamilton, director, and Centenary Christian church, William Moon, director. Mr. Moon will direct part I, Mr. Hamilton

part II, Soloists will include Mrs. Wilson Patterson, soprano; Mrs, Wanda

Moon, mezzo-soprano; Miss Lorena Pollock, contralto; Mr. Hamilton, tenor, and Mr. Moon, Baritone. Mrs. Rosemary Dunaway will be organist.
