He said four men he met in a tavern slugged and robbed him, Miller™ Pritchard, 518 E. 30th st. said four men whom he met in the [Liberty Bell tavern, 147 N. Illinois st.,, insulted him and invited him out to the alley. There, he said, they struck him and took $40. They also took a gabardine suit valued at $87, his topcoat and his watch, he added.
