DePauw university, has resigned to accept the presidency of Iliff School ‘of Theology at Denver, Colo., President Clyde E. Wildman announced today. Dr. Bartlett has ‘been DePauw dean since 1941 and professor - of religious education since 1923. He will remain at DePauw until he takes over hisanew duties at Iliff on Aug. 1. Iliff, founded in 1889, adjoins the campus of the University of Denver. Although its roots are in the Methodist church as one of the 10 Methodist seminaries in the. coun~ try, Iliff is interdenominational and is the only theological school between Chicago and the west coast.
