SHERRY decided to fuss a little over dinner. They would have it in front of the fire. The creamed tuna on toast would not do any more though. Maybe oysters. Mona loved oysters. An oyster stew! Sherry was in high spirits now. ‘|She would wrap up warmly and go to the boulevard. It was fun 40 walk in the rain.’ n ~ ”’ IT was after four when, Sherry finished her shopping and started .| home. The wind still howled and between gusts the smoke from the chimney was flattened dismally ./along the crooked roof when Ehensy saw the house through the trees She was glad the fire was still | burning. . She took her overshoes off out- | .|side on the dry step and let herself in. She put her packages on the table and took the oysters out to the kitchen.

Sherry was glad she did not have to go to the grocer’s.
