Movies to Expand ‘Foreign Markets
HOLLYWOOD, March 21 (U. P). —The motion picture industry has set up two advisory boards to get the most out of its foreign market, Movie Czar Eric Johnston announced today. One will help producers avoid ma- | terial that might be objectionable to | foreign. nations, and the other will ‘assist export managers of movie {companies in New York. 4 | “The world is extremely “sick.” said Mr. Johnston, “and while it (remains so the motion picture in- | dustry’s revenue from overseas is in jeopardy.” He said he saw no need for great change in subject matter of American films, He added that he had recommended fewer scenes showing | excessive liquor consumption.
