Gathering fo Observe School's Anniversary
The Indianapolis association - of Yowa State college alumni will hear a talk by Professor M. D. Helser, dean of the junior college and director of personnel of Iowa State college at a meeting at 7:30 p. m. Friday at the auditorium of Merchants National bank branch, 21 W. 38th st. Mr, Helser will discuss “Iowa State College, Past, Present and Future,” ‘The meeting is in observance of the college's 89th birthday. A film of Towa State's marching band will be shown.
The meeting will be open to all|
alumni and friends in the vicinity of Indianapolis. Officers of the local organization are Robert E. Fennell, president; Mrs. W. H. Headlee, vice president; Miss Carol Koch, secretary-treasurer, and Dr. Don_Baker, program chairman.

Red Cross Fund Near 50% Mark
Red Cross workers reported the annual fund raising drive here 48 per cent complete at their second report meeting this week. Total pledges are $154,662, Hugh K. Duffield, campaign chairman said today. “We're getting full co-operation of the people of Indianapolis,” Mr. Duffield said. “If our workers will conscientiously reach every person in their territory and get their reports in, we will reach our goal on March 26.” Clubs and organizations division, | led by Mrs. J. Dr. Nakaral has been granted a leave of absence from the Butler school of religion to accept the appointment.
