LOS ANGELES, March 11 (U. P.). ~The battered, half nude body of a young woman, victim of the city’s third brutal murder in two months, was found early today near city hall. The victim was identified through fingerprints as Evelyn Winters, 37. Homicide Capt. Charlie King said she apparently died from blows on the head and had been raped. Marks indicated the body had been dragged and placed on the Santa Fe railroad tracks. George Wickliffe, 28, a section hand from Joplin, Mo. reported finding the body. He was held for questioning after police - found
