The Phi Mu Alumnae association will celebrate its 95th anniversary at a founders day meeting tonight in the home of Mrs. Herman Roesch. Following the traditional candle-lighting ceremony in memory of its founding, the group will hear a piano concert by Morey Doyle.

Usually such recipes are a bit expensive, but this feature is overruled now and then if the makings are at hand or can be obtained in a Jiffy. Here is such a dessert,

GRAHAM CRACKER DATE ROLL (For Tuesday dinner) 1% 1b. dates, cut fine 15 1b. graham crackers x is marshmallows (16) . chopped walnuts or pecans. xe 1 c, oceffee cream Whipping cream Cut dates and turn into mixing bowl. Roll crackers between two sheets of waxed paper to medium fine crumbs. Turn all but one-half cup crumbs into bowl. Add marshmallows and nuts and toss together to mix well Then add cream slowly, mixing to moisten. Add only enough to hold mixture together. Shape mixture into a roll about three inches in diameter. Turn over and over in crumbs on the waxed paper to coat evenly. Roll up in the

Now add milk and salt, again heat to boiling point, then reduce quickly to 8 simmer, cover and cook for about 15 minutes more, or until rice has absorbed most of the milk. Shake the pan gently from time to time to preveht rice from sticking.

gently to avoid breaking the rice kernels. Re-heat for two or three minutes. This is best served lukewarm. Serves four.
