“I hope to see a lot of Gaines,” Mr. Spence concluded. : “The farm to which he referred now belongs to Dr. Cook and constitutes his chief hobby. However,
international convention keeps him so busy now that it's difficult for him to’ supervise his farm. He gets to Leroy for only the briefest visits. , Hobby Is Music Music is another hobby of Dr. Gaines. He sings, collects records and with Mrs. Gaines enjoys a good concert almost more than anything. He was graduated from Eureka college, received his theological training at Yale Divinity school, and was pastor of the Centennial Christian church, Bloomington, IlL, from 1925 to 1928. He served as executive secretary of the Ohio Christian Missionary society for 15 years before coming to Indianapolis. His chief duty is to co-ordinate the entire work of the Disciples in |© the international convention.
