Find Fourth Body In Chicago Blast
- CHICAGO, March 4 (U, P).~ Firemen abandoned their search of a blast-ravaged three-story loop | building today after finding the body of » fourth victim, He was | the last person unaccounted for after the gas explosion. The body of Louis Pappas, 53, proprietor of a restaurant in th building, was found late last night buried under six feet of brick and stone. Mr. Pappas had gone ¢H his cafe a short time before the blast oe curred Sunday noon. - Earlier yesterday, the body of a third victim, George A. Henry, 43, a postal worker, had been recovered from the rubble. Mr, and Mrs. Harry W, Koons of Ft. Wayne, Ind, were killed as they passed the building at the time of the blast. Their bodies were blown 30 feet into the air and onto an elevated train track. Fire Marshal Anthony J. Mullaney told a city council investigating committee yesterday that the build ing, through which the illuminating gas seeped for almost 12 hours before the blast, was “a huge gas bomb waiting lo be set off.”
