THE REASON WHY PARSNIPS are not a popular vegetable is 90 times out of 100 to poor cooking. A fresh, crisp, well developed is attractive in form, texture and aroma, but it is pale in color has an unusually sweet flavor. Because parsnips have a high sugar content, it is easy to give them most attractive brown color by in shallow fat and this Luncheon browning also is favorable to flavor and texture.
