Butler university’s Bulldogs travel to Greencastle tomorrow for their final Indiana Conference basketball encounter with DePauw’s Tigers and are gunning for a perfect slate in the league, Coach Tony Hinkle's squad has no. illusions of grandeur. or safety, however, for the players remembered only too well the hard game they had with the Tigers at the field house only a few weeks ago. The team still will be shy the services of Bill Shepherd, reserve center, due to a scholarship deficiency but the rest of the squad is ready to go. Hinkle weighed the possibility of starting Jimmy Doyle in place of Herod Toon at guard to take advantage of the younger player's height. No other changes in the regular starting alignment are contemplated. Prepare for Purdue The Bulldogs also have been preparing for their final home game of the season against Purdue on Saturday night. . Hinkle rates the Boilermakers as one of the best potential teams in the country. Arnold Risen, Bill Closs and Andres poured in the field goals in the second period to drive it to 3618 and the Kautskys rather toyed around after that. Syracuse outscored them in both the third and fourth stanzas but the big, early lead was too much for the Nationals fo wipe out. Indianapolis left the impression, too, that the points’ were there for the asking in case they really were needed. Risen wound up as the night's top scorer with 14 points and the tall boy did a nice job of rebounding at both ends of the court. Little Jerry Rizzo got 11 and Mike Novak 10 for Syracuse.
