Assets of Commonwealth Loan Co. increased nearly $3 million during 1946, L. 8. Henderson, president, announced today. Largest gain was in installment notes receivable which aggregated $15,779,602 on Dec. 31 as compared with $12,487,005 a year before. Five new branches were opened during the year, bringing the total to 72. small loan offices in 48 states. Directors chosen at a recent stockholders meeting were: R. C. Aufderheide, A. T. Coyle, G. C. Grinsteiner, H. A. Hammond, R. C. Hardisty, Mr. Henderson, J. C. Houk, W. H. Thompson and T. M. Kaufman, board chairman.
