Aufopsy Refused | The family’s wish for no added [notoriety for the notorious Al, al|leged to have snuffed out at least 500-lives, was further demonstrated | by the refusal to allow an autopsy {on Capone’s brain. Dr. Phillips revealed he had asked permission to perform the examination “for the benefit of science. The family objected; ‘however, to this procedure,” he added. Meanwhile, Capone's attorney, Abraham Teitelbaum, revealed in | Los Angeles that the once-rich Al | died. penniless. The palatial, 25‘room Palm Island estate where he !died was heavily mortgaged, Mr. | Teitelbaum said. Statement a Shock The attorney's statement came ' as a shock to gangland figures who
