Coca-Cola Plant . Demands Rehiring Of 16. Men Fired
Members of the Teamsters, haut ac | fours & Helpers local 135 A. F. of L,, employed at the Coca-Cola Bottling Co., 860 Massachusetts ave. today began picketing the plant. The union said it bases its action on charges that-the company. discharged 16 persons without regard to seniority “simply because they expressed a desire to be represented by this organization.” In a letter to the company, signed by Emmett J. Williams, local 135 secretary-treasurer, the union expressed a desire to bargain in re-
