Burial will be in Crown Hill cemetery, 8he was 72. A native of Veedersburg, she had lived here since 1887. She was the widow of Willam Schmidt, who died in 1025, and a member of the Englewood Christian church. Survivors include a son, Lawrence Schmidt, Lafayette; two daughters, Mrs, Fred Patterson and Mrs. Robe ert Carroll, both of Indianapolis; two brothers, George Goddard, Los Angeles, and Clark Goddard, Indianapolis, and five grandchildren,

William H. Stafford Jr, native and former resident of Indianapolis, died Sunday in St. Luke's hospital, Racine, Wis. He was 37, Services will be held at 2:30 p. m. tomorrow in Flanner & Buchanan mortuary by the Rev, Russell W. Calloway of the Mrst church, Burial will be in Crown Hill, His father, Wiliam H. Stafford 8r., Carmel, is a partner in the insurance firm, Stone, Stafford & Stone. Mr. Stafford was formerly associated with the insurance firm and lived here until 1943. Survivors besides the father are three sisters, Mrs. John Mead, Indianapolis; Mrs. Edwin A. Blish, Seymour, and Mrs. George McKay, Pt. Wayne.
