Sevitsky and Fred Waring alter-|
nating on the podium. Beginning, at Mr, Waring's suggestion, with Dr. Sevitzky's trans scription’ of the Bach choral« prelude, “Wir glauben all’ an einen Gott,” the first part will continue with two successive performances of Von Suppe's “Poet and Peasant” overture, Sevitsky-style and War-ing-style. Move to Popular Songs ° The next major division of the program Will be devoted to popular songs and their symphonic sources, with Dr. Sevitzky conducting condensed versions of serious works like Rachmaninoff’s second piano
