The suits contended that employees are entitled to overtime for traveling to and from time clocks; changing fhto and out of work clothes; washing during the lunch hour and upon quitting; waiting for their pay at a time designated by the employer and being required or permitted to report to first aid stations during the working hour. The suits claim damages for the past six years.

Legion to Fight For Soldier Bonus
American Legion announced today that it would lead a fight in the state legislature for a soldier bonus bill.

Matter of Popular Taste
If the unwitting ancestor of ‘“fonight We Love” could be retired for a spell while newer works got performed, perhaps soloists, orchestras and audiences would all gain. But it takes a lot of courage to buck popular taste, popular habit in such matters. Mr, Barber's “Essay” is a fine piece of writing—good, “absolute” music, scored for all the resources of the modern orchestra. Like the Sibelius symphony, it makes demands on the woodwinds, brasses
