CLEVELAND, 0, Dec. 18 (U, P.), —At the 32d annual clinjcal congress of the American College of Surgeons here, Dr. Charles W. Myers, Indianapolis City hospital superintendent, noted the increased death toll from airplane crashes. He told the surgeons that planning of community facilities and the training of medical staffs geared to handle highway accidents, “should be -evaluated in the light of théir capacity for handling aircraft accident cases. Unless we can meet the needs of this increasing type of ceident case, the death toll from his source will be even higher in the future.” He said deaths from plane crashes during the first half of 1945-—not including airliners on scheduled

flights--rose 50 per cent over the|.

same period in 1944.
