Waring Gets Symphony Bid

Fred Waring and Fabien Sevitzky will share the podiim at the Indianapolis - Symphony's municipal concert in the Murat at 8:30 p. m. Tuesday, January 7. The unusual combination of conductors has been planned by Dr. Sevitzky to ally popular with classical music in the minds of people who profess allegiance to only one of the two. Long-time friends, the two conductors have previously discussed the project, only this year Yeelding} it was feasible. Not vet definitely set, the program will not be a “contest” or battle | hHetween the two types of music, but | rather a “musical merger,” in which each conductor will present his own type, conducting alternately.
