SA FRANCISCO, Dec. 12 (U. PJ). ~The American Farm Bureau federation concludes its 28th annual convention today with the adoptiony:™ of resolutions outlining its policies for the coming year. Statements that “nothing controversial” was included in the resolutions prompted a prediction that the federation would not call for a complete revision of the parity formula. A behind-the-scenes battle report- |S edly took place as the resolutions committee debated the issue. A reliable source sald that one resolution will “define the organization's stand on the proposed revision of the parity price formula rather than call for a complete revision.” Another resolution will call for ' eontinuation of Commodity Credit Corp. loans on agricultural products.

The latest in diving apparatus for the recovery of drowning victims was exhibited today before the fire department drillmasters conference. John B. Dunne, Mine Safety Appliance Co. representative, Pittsburgh, Pa., made the demonstration in the Indianapolis Athletic club pool. It permits an experienced swimmer to stay under water, at depths to 35 feet, for an hour, The device was developed for the navy during the war.
