New Community Group Formed

“Council Represents All Faiths, Races

Cyrus BE. Wood of the E. CO, Atkins Co. will serve as the first presiding officer of the new Community Relations council organzed last ‘night in the ¥, W. C. A. Mr. Wood was elected president pro tem of the organization of all faiths and races to make for better | feeling and opportunity in Indian apolis. By-laws and a constitu "|tion were adopted and there was discussion of goals and aims. Dr. Grover Hartman, secretary of the social service department of the church federation, described the new council as “quiet, studious and with a positive approach.” He says it will strive to knit together all groups in effort of mutual interést so that such organizations as the ku-klux klan and ‘the Columbians cannot find seed for growth. William H. Coleman Confined in Hospital

William H. Coleman, retired Indianapolis industrialist, today was

in. Coleman hospital, which he founded, in fair condition. He has ¥ been a patient since Wednesday. Mr. Coleman, who is 98, has contributed more than $1,000,000 to Indianapolis hospitals. His {liness was first diagnosed as pneumonia, Coleman hospital offi-| cials said.
