W.H.O. Club Plans Annual Dance Tomorrow Night in K. of C. Hall Sub-Debs Plan Christmas Tea

By BOBBIE SCHAEFFER A TEEN-AGE TRADITION of 10 years will be carried on tomorrow night in the K. of C. hall when the W. H. O. club gives its annual

dance.

Max Wilson's orchestra will play for the “guest dance” from 8:30

p. m. to 12:30 a. m, and the 26 members of the club will appear in | formals the stores have stocked in

some of these bewitching holiday for this gala season. The story of the club goes back about 10 years when some girls at Shortridge organized and named their club W. H. O. Through the years Shortridge high school girls have carried on —with freshmen, sophomore, junfor and senior girls as members. They have club pins, W. H. O. initials with a question mark. The dance is always the first week in December and they hold a rush tea in the spring. Officers are elected in the spring also. Sub-Deb Names Paper BETTY McCONKEY, a sophomore at Bréhd Ripple high, was winner of the “name” contest for the new sub-deb monthly publication. “The Sub Debian” is the winning name and the first issue with the new “flag” was distributed at the Sub-Deb Federation meeting Saturday at Ayres’. Betty, a member of the D. O. V. E. 8. club, received a $15 gift certificate for her prize suggestion.
