“The ashes of Hernan Cortez, the
Spanish conqueror of Mexico, have been rediscovered after a disappearance lasting 119 years, it was disclosed today. A search party having access to a secret document found the ashes in a golden urn,’ It was concealed in a wall of the hospital Nuestro Senora de la Concepcion in the oldest part of Mexico City, the newspaper El Universal reported. It quoted Dr. Benjamin Trillo, director. of the Hospital of Jesus.
PSYCHIATRIC STUDY GIVEN YOUNG KILLER
ROCKVILLE, Md, Nov. 26 (U. P.).—Fourteen-year-old Bobby Snyder was under psychiatric examination today to determine whether it was something more than boyish rage that prompted him to shoot and kill his foster parents and foster sister. Young Snyder was committed to the care of court-appointed psychiatrists yesterday. His scheduled arraignment for the triple-slaying was continued indefinitely when he gave way to hysterics as he entered the courtroom. Defense Attorney James R. Miller described Bobby as “the product of an unhappy home life.” According to police, young Snyder has confessed shooting and killing his family last Saturday after parental reprimand for staying out late Friday night on a date in the family car.
