Able Performance Given _ By Cleveland Company

Times State Servies™ BLOOMINGTON, Nov. 13.—~The first play in the 31-year history of the Cleveland Playhouse to be presented outside of Cleveland was performed here last night. It was “The Late George Apley,” by John P, Marquand and George 8. Kaufman. :

This “first” recalled to, many present the fact that when the In|diana university auditorfum was originglly opened, it was also the scene of the first performance by the Metropolitan Opera company before a college audience. ‘Play Skillfully Acted Last night's play was the first of the programs in this year’s auditorium series which had not previously been séen in Indianapolis.

The three acts. were skillfully acted by the Cleveland company.

Times State Service BLOOMINGTON, Ind, Nov.13— Earlham college-Indiana university extension center in Richmond is organizing an adult chorus in connection with the already established Richmond Civic Symphony orchestra, Directors of the adult music program include Dale Cox, who will conduct the chorus; Ben GG. Graham, Richmond public school music supervisor, and Harry A Polack, violin teacher, who will share direction of the symphony.
