NATIONAL 24-HOUR FORECAST SUMMARY: The New ‘England states will have increasing cloudiness Thursday night, as will eastern sections of the Middle Atlantic states. Rain is foreseen in western portions of New York and Pennsylvania, also in West Virginia. Purther west, it will be raining through the-Ohio, Tennessee and Mississippi Valleys, over the upper Lakes region and in the Central and East Gulf states. (See FOTO-. CAST for exact areas).
