LAS VEGAS, Nev, Nov. 7 (U, P). —Irish war bride Bridget Waters
sald a tearful goodby today to the _18-month-old son for whose safety
she said she shot her American husband to death. Then she went to prison for a term of one to five years. With maximum time off for good behavior, the sentence would separate the green-eyed nurse from Frank Waters Jr. for at least nine months, District Judge A.-S. Henderson yesterday ordered her to serve out the sentence in state prison at Carson City. He denied a plea for a 20-day stay of sentence and turned Mrs. Waters over to Sheriff Glen Jones for transportation to prison.
