Presbyterian Groups To Hear Mission Official

Dr. Charles T. Leber, executive secretary of the board of foreign missions of the Presbyterian church in the U. 8. A., next week will address both the meeting of the first district Presbyterial society and a diner of the Northminster Presbyterian ‘church. Dr. Leber will speak at “the annual first district meeting of the Indianapolis ~ Presbyterial society following lunchéon * Wednesday in the Irvington Presbyterian church. The Northminster church will present Dr. Leber as the dinner speaker Friday at 6:30 p. m. in the Millersville Masonic temple. The guest speaker has visited the many oriental and South American countries in which the Presbyterian denomination conducts mis-

books. Miss Emily McAdams, president of the Indianapolis Presbyterial society, will lead a panel discussion at the morning session. Those on the panel and their subjects are: “Spiritual Advance” by Mrs, Edward Mayo; “Lay Leadership,” Mrs. David Smith; “Christian Education,” Mrs. Matthew Smith, and . ‘Christian Outreach,” Mrs. Carl W. The pedestals and vases are the gifts of Louis C. Brandt, president of the congregation, and Mrs. Brandt by way of marking their 55th wedding anniversary. Bazaar, Dinner

The Fairview Presbyterian church will hold a bazaar and dinner during a program Thursday from 2 until 10 p. m. A roast beef dinner will be served from 5 to 7 p. m. Other attractions will include booths for, displaying and selling Christmas cards, infantwear, baked goods and other foods. A white elephant auction will be held and a general store will operate with cracker barrel and cheese counter. Cartoon movies for children will be shown and soft drinks and ice cream will be sold.
